Product warranty
Lumi lighting products include a 12-month warranty from delivery unless a different period is stated on the product page or order confirmation.
The product warranty covers defects in materials or manufacture under normal intended use. Depending on the issue, Lumi may inspect, repair or replace the affected product, or provide another appropriate remedy.
What is not covered
The product warranty does not cover normal wear, accidental or cosmetic damage, misuse, unsuitable electrical supply, improper installation, unauthorised modification or repair, water or environmental exposure beyond the product rating, or use outside the published specification.
A claim is not rejected merely because a product was installed by another qualified party. We may ask for installation information where it is reasonably relevant to identifying the cause.
Workmanship warranty
Eligible installation workmanship is covered for 6 months from completion, unless a different period is expressly stated in writing for the specific work. This covers faults directly caused by Lumi's work within the accepted quotation.
What is not covered
The workmanship warranty does not cover unrelated existing wiring or site defects, later work by others, misuse, accidental damage, building movement, water ingress or work outside the agreed scope.
Customer-supplied products are not covered by Lumi’s product warranty. Where Lumi installs them, the workmanship warranty still applies to faults directly caused by Lumi’s agreed installation work; it does not cover faults in the supplied product itself.
Making a claim
Email hello@lumi.com.sg or contact us by WhatsApp with your order or quotation number, a clear description, photographs or video, and the installation date where relevant. Keep the product available for reasonable inspection and stop using anything that appears unsafe.
Product and workmanship claims are assessed separately so the appropriate remedy can be provided. Nothing on this page limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under Singapore law.
